The 2024 Regatta season is well underway and Georgian Bay Rowing Club has been busy competing in several Master’s Regattas. Our crews have seen success at the RowOn Masters Championships (June 15 in Welland, ON), Diamond State USRowing Northeast MidAtlantic Masters Regional Championships (June 22 in Townsend, Delaware), and the CORA Regatta (July 6 in Welland, ON). Our Masters crews achieved multiple podium finishes in a variety of events. Stay tuned for more success at the upcoming CORA Championships in St. Catharines and the Tony Biernacki Memorial Regatta in Welland!
Our Youth Learn to Row sessions have concluded and our new rowers had a great time learning the fundamentals of rowing. By the end of their sessions, they were moving their boats cleanly and with good speed!
